Scala trait for implementing generics with singleton extends
I need to define a trait, say T[+A] and a class, say S[A] which implements T[A] and have only a singleton instance.
I understand that you can’t do anything beyond the singleton with a sealed trait, so I changed my idea. I think I can do this with a simple extension method on AnyRef. Is this what I need?
class TImpl[+A] {
def apply[T](x: T[A]): T[A] = x
}
object TImpl extends AnyRef {
def unapply[A](x: AnyRef): Option[A] = Some(x.asInstanceOf[T[A]])
}
scala> class S[A] extends TImpl[A]
defined class S
scala> val s = new S[Int]
s: S[Int] = S@2aadf089
scala> s.apply[List[Int]]
res2: List[Int] = List(1)
scala> res2.size
res3: Int = 1
scala> res2.asInstanceOf[TImpl[List[Int]]].apply[List[Int]] // pass the singleton instance
res4: List[Int] = List(1)
Is this feasible?
A:
The best way to think about this is that you do not need to extend the AnyRef object because you only want one instance of S[A]. All your S instances will be identical. By using the Singleton pattern, you will get a S[A] for free, with the result of TImpl’s apply method being stored as that S[A].
This is a consequence of how the type parameter A in TImpl is erased.
The difference between S[A] and S[B] are all and only the results of the calls to the apply method, so if you only have one instance of S[A] you have only one instance of S[A], there is no need to differentiate between the two types.

Recomended1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a method and device for adjusting a bend radius of a preform constituting a fiber-reinforced plastic shell that constitutes a bumper of a car body. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and device for adjusting a bend radius of a preform for use in forming a fiber-reinforced plastic shell with high dimensional accuracy.
2. Description of the Related Art
A bumper, to which an impact energy is inputted when a car collides with another car, is generally installed on a car body of the car.
The bumper in a vehicle generally includes a bumper beam, which is a single integral unit, formed by being welded to a front end of an upper part of a front or side frame constituting a vehicle body, and a bumper reinforcement, which is a single integral unit, attached to a front end of a vehicle body frame.
The bumper reinforcement is constituted by a bumper core with a predetermined shape, and an FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) outer shell. The bumper core is formed by fiber-reinforcing a reinforced-plastic preform that is formed as a bending metal mold made up of upper and lower mold halves. The outer shell is formed by impregnating resin into the preform in a bend-casting process.
There are provided methods of preforming the preforms used for producing the bumper reinforcement. A method of preforming the preforms is, for example, disclosed in Jpn. Pat. Appln. KOKAI Publication No. 2009-255637. In the method disclosed in the Jpn. Pat. Appln. KOKAI Publication No. 2009-255637, the preforms are preformed so as to increase the bend radius of the preforms.
In the method disclosed in the Jpn. Pat. Appln. KOKAI Publication No. 2009-255637, a mold support is vertically moved using a hydraulic cylinder, a mold clamping cylinder and a

I will share with you some of the greatest ways to make you safer when using your laptop or computer. The bottom line is that we all know how much we want to protect ourselves from hackers and cyber crimes. Some of the best ways you can protect yourself against malware, cyber threats, keyloggers, and other malware is through using a good antivirus software.
However, it is not enough to just have an antivirus software because there are many more ways you can protect yourself on your laptop or computer. So to help you protect your computer from viruses and viruses you need to be more mindful of the following things.
Enable System Restore and run virus scans
If you are running a computer that is relatively new, make sure that you enable System Restore. It can be found in the Control Panel. Under the system properties, you will find a tab for System Restore. In order to restore your computer back to a time when it is functioning well, make sure to check the box next to the System Restore. It is a good idea to run a virus scan when you first turn on your computer.
Restrict access to the Internet
If you are worried that someone is hacking into your computer because they are reaching into a site and stealing your data, you can restrict this access. With Windows 10, you can go to your search bar and type in the Windows Defender, allowing you to set a password for any websites that you would want to prevent or limit access to. Also, you can prevent someone from entering a browser to a particular URL.
Use a browser that is not included with the PC
If you are worried that someone is taking advantage of a security hole in the browser that you use to protect your computer, you should change your browser. Usually, you can find a list of the most popular browsers and check each one out to see if they might be safe. You can also take a look at newer browsers as well. You can type in Microsoft Edge and then scroll down the list and pick

This is a classic projection of an industry becoming more mature and the

spent any time thinking about the fundamentals here, rather I have been
focusing on the arguments from the New York Times about China and the
Rocket-Ship City-State model.
